NUST IGIS Team MGP ARZ Wins Silver award in P@sha ICT Annual Awards 2021 and has qualified to represent Pakistan Internationally at Asia Pacific ICT Awards!Team of NUST Institute of Geographical Information Systems (IGIS) has won silver award in Tertiary Student category of P@sha ICT Annual Awards 2020/21, held at Beach Luxury Hotel Karachi,  on October 23, 2021. The P@SHA ICT Awards are the premier event of the IT industry and bring together business leaders from various sectors as well as diplomats and media. The Chief Guest for the awards ceremony was the Honorable Ameen ul Haq, who is Federal Minister of information and Technology and Guest of Honor High Commissioner of Canada Ms Wendy Gilmour.MGP Arz is a project of NUST IGIS students, Umair Mukhtar , Zain ul Islam , Shafaat Tahir and Fahad Tariq . It is a Geo Spatial Data Processing Platform that helps in processing , creation and analysis of Geo Spatial Data.This year, more than 350 applicants from across Pakistan, ranging from largest IT companies to promising new start-ups and students, submitted their projects in 10 main and 42  sub-categories in the competition. evaluated by 52 esteemed judges.
