IGIS Alumni and PhD scholar “Mr. KAMRAN MIR” delivered a talk on “Geospatial Modelling and Resource Allocation”. Talk covered GIS based allocation and modelling, based on project “Geo-spatial Model for Distance Education (GOLDEN)” designed for Allama lqbal Open University”. He shared his valuable experience how GIS is used in educational planning. Mr. Kamran also shed knowledge on front end technologies and skills required in software industry.

Brief Profile: Mr. Kamran Mir is an EdTech Researcher and Trainer. He is currently working as Assistant Director IT at Allama lqbal Open University (AIO U). He is also PhD research scholar at National University of Science of Technology (NUST). His area of research revolves around GIS and Distance Education.
